Grief Essentials
Grief and loss will touch all of us at some point. Unresolved grief over the death of a loved one may have a lasting impact, affecting every area of our lives.
The Caltech Staff and Faculty Consultation is pleased to offer an eye-opening Zoom presentation on this topic by Adria Navarro, PhD, LCSW, of USC Verdugo Hills Hospital.
Dr. Navarro brings lessons gleaned over 30 years working with families around end of life care. She will give an overview of the process of grief and bereavement, and share concrete resources and tools that can help those who are grieving. She notes, "While everyone grieves in their own way and on their own timeline, they don't have to do it alone."
